LUCY ULMER

Lucy is a motivational lifestyle coach who has been helping people achieve optimum health and wellness for more than 10 years. She holds certifications in indoor cycling, group fitness, personal training, pilates, yoga, and has completed numerous training courses with a focus in prenatal and postpartum care. In addition, Lucy is an Owner of Hustle and Spin Society Indoor Cycling studios in Vancouver, Canada where she is both a leader of the organizations and a coach.

Lucy’s inspiration for coaching comes from her personal experience as a four-time Ironman in support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation and its mission to cure Parkinson’s Disease. Over the past decade Lucy has been a Master Instructor across various studios in Vancouver and for 4 years running, was voted by Class Pass members as Vancouver’s Best Instructor and Most Moving Instructor.

A passion for fostering programs for mamas and those on their pregnancy journey has always been central to Lucy’s role as a fitness professional. The result of Lucy’s passion is her trademark The LU Method, a revolutionary holistic approach to fitness through pregnancy and after.

Today you can move with her in a group setting or through personal training at Hustle, Spin Society and through the Revel Fitness Group online platform. She will work with you to elevate your fitness level, create discipline, and provide personal accountability.

STEPHANIE STEWART

“Our bodies are made to move, so why not do it well.”

Stephanie possesses more than 15 years of professional fitness experience. She holds a degree in Kinesiology and certifications in both indoor cycling and group fitness, as well as specialized training to coach mama and baby fitness classes.

Stephanie has worked as a strength and conditioning coach training athletes across multi-discipline sports. For the last 6 years Stephanie has directed the academy and development programs for the VanU Youth Soccer Association, which is one of the largest soccer clubs in the Vancouver with approximately 3,000 boys and girls from ages 3-17 playing at the U4-U18 levels.

Today you can find Stephanie coaching classes at Spin Society studios as a Senior Instructor and Hustle as a group fitness instructor, with a focus on leading mama and baby fitness classes. As a new mother herself Stephanie looks to empower new mothers as they go through and come out of their pregnancy with maximum confidence.

MIKAELA DESMARAIS

“That’s what I’m talkin’ about.”

Mikaela is a world-class athlete turned fitness professional. She spent more than a decade as an elite gymnast and cheerleader. Mikaela is also certified in indoor cycling and group fitness. She is a coach at Hustle and Senior Instructor at Spin Society studios in Vancouver.

Mikaela’s athletic background is what inspired her to pursue fitness as a full-time profession. Having competed at a high-level Mikaela understands how to bring the element of athleticism to pregnancy fitness, because mamas are every-day athletes. This different perspective on fitness has enabled Mikaela to successfully coach others to achieve their personal fitness goals.

If you are looking for Mikaela, you can catch her in-person at both Hustle and Spin Society studios. She also coaches online classes on the Revel Fitness Group platform. With Mikaela expect high energy, the occasional bad joke, and a fiery attitude.

SORAYA SAVJI

“It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to has power over you if you allow it.”

Soraya grew up playing a variety of sports, but her health and fitness journey truly began after her first year of University when she realized her love for cinnamon buns (and a few, ok a lot of other treats) and lack of exercise wasn’t sustainable (hello freshman 15+).

She fell in love with spin over 10 years ago and over time has incorporated more strength based training and Pilates into her routine, both of which have had a huge positive impact on her physical and mental strength. This led to her completing certifications in indoor cycling, pilates and pre and post natal fitness.

Her journey with movement, weight gain and weight loss and its impact on how she felt resulted in her deciding to grow her career in fitness. She understands the importance of balance, creating a routine that works for you and how moving your body supports you in feeling your best.
